A few days after our successful kick-off meeting in late February, the world simply changed due to the unexpected pandemic. This occurred at the initial stage of our PROMENTORS project.
The project partners come from all across Europe and several of them were at high risk. As a result of the situation, the decision was made at an early stage, and by all the partners, to continue as planned and to work more online and to meet less. Although all the partners are familiar with online work, we still missed the physical meetings of the teams, the small talk, the coffee breaks, and most of all to feel safe.
The Israeli team conducted all the monthly meetings using ZOOM technology, progress was made in all the work packages, almost according to the project benchmarks and now we are planning our next international meeting with all the Israeli and European partners to take place online in July.
